I earned my bachelor's degree in psychology from BYU, and I'm currently attending Chicago School of Professional Psychology as a graduate student. My undergraduate focus was clinical psychology. As a tutor, I can help students learn a number of subjects, but my specialties are Mandarin Chinese, algebra, and statistics. I believe the most effective way to help students learn is to identify the teaching style they learn from best. There many ways to teach subjects, and there many ways to learn. I modify my approach to match the needs of my students. This increases comprehension and engagement. When I have some free time, I like to compete in ballroom dance, hike, and read.
